I'll work on a forum post announcing open recruiting and explaining a process. Pel and I will move some toons and create a new junior guild. Are we going with Ewoks? or LTWW - Ewoks or something?

All guild members should make a recruiting macro with the link to the thread. Once word gets out, you will get asked a lot.

Another proposal - I am recommending that we make this junior guild 18 and over only. I'm not up to dealing with the Egan's of the WoW world again. Real life friends and family of current Wookies can still get in the regular way regardless of age.

18 and over sounds good to me. Maybe use the channel "Wookiechat" for interguild chat? Keeps recruits separated from ewokslfg and eliminates any confusion should a raw recruit try to join up with an EoL raid. I can see the fun now when a raw recruit that just hits 70 goes raiding with EoL and requests to do the "fish boss"....

I'll move over Bassett & Roxee to the junior guild since I'll be doing some 5-mans with them over the next two weeks.

Ok, I took a stab at the new recruitment post. Let me know what you think.

I separated raid access to avoid exactly what Ened mentions. I'm not exposing EoL to new knuckleheads before we've had a chance to weed them out. So, Ewoks do not have access to HC or T2 raids.

Other questions left to be answered:

1. Which officer wants to be GM of Ewoks? (i.e. Not me.)

2. Do we want to institute a lvl requirement? At least 1 70 and whatever alts or something like that? We've had lowbies express concerns about no one to level with before since everyone else was 70's, not sure how to deal with that one.

3. Anything else I'm missing?

the more people we can finally get into the guild , maybe then we can finally start running kara again. since no one ever wants to anymore or we never have enough people on to care

I'm sure you could get a Kara run going if you posted a specific time and date you wanted to run on the forums and in the guild message of the day. People will log on to go if you set up a time in advance. (That's what I have found anyway.)

I'm sure folks will bring alts to help fill out a run. Finding a capable tank that isn't Kara'd out is usually the challenge.

So when is the guild charter signing party for <Not the Droids You're Looking for> ?

I'll put Iv and Arinvar as Droids and leave Aadina a Wookie, since that's their relative gear levels.

This is my 2 weeks of active play time and nobody is around to play with.

The guild charter was turned in yesterday. If you want to put an alt in the new guild, let me know.

Kazzalla is currently the GM for Ewokz, but just long enough to get it formed. I need someone else to step up to the plate. I can't do two guilds.

I'll be making a post in the Stormrage forums about the new guild today. Hopefully we'll see some new apps.
